POTSDAM HIGH SCHOOL ARTISTS PRESENT “INCITE YOUR SENSES” AT CREATIVE SPIRIT ART CENTER

The Potsdam High School Art Department presents “Incite Your Senses,” an exhibition of artwork by Potsdam High School Art Students, opening on Friday, May 16 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the Creative Spirit Art Center. Exceptional art students will exhibit a variety of art forms including, sculpture, painting, drawing, digital and traditional photography. The exhibit also honors and reveals the culmination of 14 graduating senior art majors.

The Art Department has selected Judges from the Arts Community to judge art to received awards in Sculpture, Drawing, Painting and Photography. The awards will be given at the opening reception on Friday. The Seniors have also selected an underclassman to receive a recognition award. Several teachers and administrators will also recognize their favorite artworks in the exhibit.

“Incite Your Senses” will be on view at the downstairs gallery at the Creative Spirit Art Center from the opening on May 16 through June 9, 2008.
