TRISKELION -
staff--June
Edition - Volume 2 - Issue 12
Triskelion emerged from the remnants
of two previous North Country rock bands; CAIN, very
popular hard rockers in the Jefferson County/Watertown
rock scene and FULL EFFECT who were a very popular “Big
80’s” rock band, more prominent in St. Lawrence
County. After these two bands ended their rock careers
and became just musical memories, Big Larry Holly (Cain)
along with Tim Logan and Randy VanBrocklin (Full Effect)
were brought together by fate (and maybe a higher power)
in early 2006 at a ‘jam night’ held at the
American House in Edwards, NY.
The chemistry of that jam session
and the response from the onlookers that night was too
much for Larry, Tim and Randy to ignore. In the Spring
of 2006 the three band-less musicians decided to put
a Summer Project Together to satisfy the many requests
they’ve received after their initial jam session.
The new group was called “Triskelion” which,
if you do your research, is one of the oldest symbols
of unity and brotherhood. (The Triskel dates back to
early Celtic history and perhaps earlier.) Larry, Tim
and Randy thought this to be a fitting name and symbol
for their new project. The Summer of 2006 was a success
and they played their last gig in August of that year,
parting ways to try new musical adventures.
As it turned out, the new musical
adventures just could not match the energy and chemistry
that the former Triskelion experienced during the summer
of 2006. After much conversation, debate and brainstorming,
Larry, Tim and Randy decided to resurrect Triskelion,
with a new twist. They asked an unknown talent, Travis
Averill, to join Triskelion. He not only injects youth
and energy to the show, but also brings some incredible
back-up vocals and plays rhythm guitar to support Tim’s
flawless guitar riffs. The new formula is complete with
Larry Holly on Lead Vocals and bass guitar, Tim Logan
on lead guitar, Travis Averill on rhythm guitar/backing
vocals and Randy VanBrocklin on drums.
Triskelion’s show and sound
can be described as BIG and sorta ‘in your face’
but in a good way. We strive to offer fans a huge “wow”
factor” and want to stimulate your senses with
both visual and sonic presentation. Triskelion strives
to offer fans something that they are not used to experiencing
at their typical rock show, whether it be a local, regional
or professional. The band becomes an entity of it’s
own that is driven by the individual energies of Larry,
Tim, Travis, Randy and every fan present at the moment.
If you come to a Triskelion show you will see what I
mean. Triskelion’s set list is constructed of
heavy, powerful songs from a variety of artists, including
Metallica, Stone Temple Pilots, Stone Sour, Black Stone
Cherry, God Smack, Disturbed and The Tragically Hip
to name a few. They even throw in some classics from
such artists as Van Halen and Pink Floyd, but with a
very modern and intense edge. They are currently working
on original songs that will compliment the set list,
and hope to have a full length CD sometime in the near
future. The next step in their growth will be to become
better known regionally and potentially tap the larger
markets of Syracuse, Utica, Albany and beyond. After
that, who knows?
Keep your eyes open for Triskelion
playing at various venues in the North Country. We ask
everyone to Let us know if you like the shows and what
else we can do to make them even more enjoyable.---

NOIZAFTR9 -
staff--May
Edition - Volume 2 - Issue 11
NoizAftr9 is a rock power trio that
consists of T. Mourick (lead vocals, lead/rhythm guitars)
Kirk “the madman” Pearson (Bass/lead vocals)
& Ronnie D. Freeman (percussion/backing vocals).
Although this is the typical lineup its become a tradition
to find these guys switching instruments with each other
during a show and demonstrating that they are virtuosic
with musical talent.
NoizAftr9 emerged on Northern St.
Lawrence county as a cover band in 2005 and quickly
gained notoriety for being the band that played anything
and everything from psychedelic delay infused Pink Floyd
covers, to crowd favorites like the heavy hitting “beer
song”.
They are not just a cover band though.
NoizAftr9 has a growing collection of original music
That can be heard at www.myspace.com/NoizAftr9. Their
music writing ranges from hard rock & metal, to
blues, and Satriani type of instrumental arrangements.
This is in no small part due to the diverse tastes of
the musicians themselves. Songs like the ethereal “Next
Breath” & hard driving “Lesson”
speak of life experiences and what can be gained from
them.
The goal of NoizAftr9 has been to
bring a different set of rules to the cover band scene.
Not only do they play all the classic dance covers that
are common amongst the various cover bands, but they
even mold old school rap songs like “wild thing”
into rocking mixes in order to appeal to the younger
generations love of hip hop. They are always open to
requests from the audience and the shows are often dictated
by just that.
The ‘Boiz from Noiz’,
as they’ve come to be known, pride themselves
on being above all else a family. It is this closeness
amongst the group that keeps the members in tune with
one another and forms the tight bonds that results in
a musical group that stands out and gets noticed. Getting
noticed is not the means to an end in this band, but
merely a perk of a mutual love of music that is shared
by a fellowship of musicians whose main job is to entertain
the crowd, that stands before them, whether it be 5
or 500. Attend a NoizAftr9 show and you are in for a
genre roller coaster ride that guarantees something
for everyone. ---

THE REESE PROJECT
- staff--Mar
Edition - Volume 2 - Issue 9
The Reese Project, a compelling, mesmerizing
quartet of masterful musicians, performs real jazz,
including standards & their own originals. They
have created a new jazz sound: “East Coast Cool.”
They’re appealing to see & hear (listen for
Tom’s trademark “Yeah!”) and have
played to sold out venues & multiple standing ovations.
The unique instrumentation of the group & their
“outside of the box” approach has critics
raving with their fresh approach to traditional jazz.
A “must see,” The Reese Project will leave
you wanting more & more “East Coast Cool.”
Tom Reese, flute, writes most of the
band’s material. In performance, his highly-charged,
soaring flute lines carve new sounds out of traditional
forms. Laurie Haines Reese, cello, adds a unique flavor
to the band with the electric cello. Her shredding sound
and acoustic bass lines compliment the creative edge
in the original works as well as the standards. Bobby
Brewer, guitar, sends the band stomping & growling
into the aether. Aaron Walker, drums, captures the motion
in the rhythms and drives the sound.
With a nod to past masters, the original
jazz created within this group of musicians steps in
a new direction, while staying squarely within the boundaries
of real jazz. It’s definitely music for fresh
ears. Performing jazz standards, funk, blues & originals,
The Reese Project includes something for everyone --
from Bach to the Beatles. They have played to packed
houses throughout the US & Canada (even in a major
snow storm!).
The Reese Project has released seven
CD’s. They were selected to be on WVIA’s
“Best of 30 Years of Homegrown Music” CD;
Lancaster Jazz compilations, several Christmas compilations
& other honors.
“I caught three fabulous acts Sunday at the Lancaster
Jazz Festival. The headliner, Kurt Elling, kept the
listeners there, but for my tastes, the second act,
The Reese Project, stole the show. This unique combination
with a soloing cello playing bass lines, amazing soloist
Tom Reese making the flute viable as a jazz instrument
& soaring vocals by veteran vocalist Ron Smith proved
that unique instrumentation equals great jazz.”

LUCID (w/twiddle)-
staff--
Feb Edition - Volume 2 - Issue 8
Currently, Lucid
is in the studio working on a double disc album. This
will be their second album after only being together
for three years. Always interested in fresh approaches,
Lucid is recording with producer, engineer, rapper,
and good friend Benn Erb. This represents a change from
their last album, “Miles Deep”, which was
recorded in Vermont with Chuck Eller, an engineer for
the Allman Brothers, Phish, Oyserhead, and many other
well-known bands.
In August of
last year Lucid linked up with Kali Productions to put
together a two-day music event -“Backwoods Pondfest”-
which proved to be a rousing success. The festival featured
bands like The New Groove Orchestra, Roots of Creation,
Rolla featuring Fuzz of Deep Banana Blackout, many other
great bands, and Lucid performed both nights.
Backwoods Pondfest
made a big splash in the area! It was featured in The
Press Republican, Fourth Coast Entertainment Magazine,
and State of Mind Magazine. The SUNY Plattsburgh TV
station aired footage of Lucid at Backwoods Pondfest
in October last year as well. Since the success of the
first festival there will be a bigger, better, and crazier
festival next year.
Lucid has donated
their talent and expertise to many local charity fundraisers
for which they have received well-earned publicity.
Articles about these events and Lucids’ other
performances can be found at www.pressrepublican.com
by searching “Lucid.” The Press Republican
also published a cover story on their much anticipated
debut album “Miles Deep.” The disc earned
top ten album sales at a local record store, Peacock
Music, twelve weeks in a row, and reached the number
two spot, only to be beaten by Johnny Cash.
Folks have been
clamoring for the new album, much of which has been
honed at and between performances. The fans already
love the songs, songs that find wide appeal across all
ages and backgrounds. Lucid plays a unique blend of
blues, rock, and funk even as they incorporate other
diverse styles – combining it all into a wall
of sound that melts your face and soothes your soul.

About
Twiddle:
Twiddle hails from the hills of Hubbardton, Vermont,
and has always sought to write and perform music that
is diverse and groovin’, but also intricate and
expressive. In the relatively short time since forming,
this quartet’s music and songwriting has progressed
by leaps without bounds, earning them steadily growing
recognition. While tapping many parts of the globe for
diverse musical and cultural influences, Twiddle maintains
a vibe of modern rock and funk with traditional jazz,
classical, reggae, and Latin overtones -- all in the
spirit of intertwining improvisation and structure.
The band has been able to kick back and find itself
at home on whatever stage they’ve played on, be
it at a club, college, downtown park, historic theatre,
or late night festival. Twiddle’s shows are always
high energy, but with plenty of time, tempo, and mood
changes to keep the ears engaged and the brain wondering
what’s next.

TAILOR MADE (Central
NY) - staff--
Jan Edition - Volume 2 - Issue 7
Tailor
Made is from Cortland New York, a top 40 country group
with a little classic rock thrown in. They’ve
been playing the local scene and opening for some pretty
big names since 1994. Just some of the acts they’ve
opened for are: Sammy Kershaw, George Jones and even
Molly Hatchet!
Tink Bennett - Lead Vocals, Lead Guitars. Tink is the
founder and leader of the group. He has been playing
the guitar since he was four years old. He’s had
his own groups since high school (the late 70’s
and early 80’s). His early musical influences
were Eddie Van Halen and Neal Schon of Journey. His
country influences are Vince Gill and Albert Lee.Tink
is a natural when it comes to being an entertainer.
With his strong vocals and tasteful edgy guitar leads....and
his gift of being spontaneous, Tink will always assure
that you never see the exact same show twice!
Al Pankhurst - Lead Vocals and Rythm Guitars. Al is
a seasoned vocalist and performer, an energetic stage
performer that adds the final ingredient to the high
stage electricity that is “Tailor Made”.
His smooth high vocals lets the group cover some of
todays best such as Rascall Flatts, Vince Gill, Lonestar
and more! Al is without a doubt one of Central New York’s
premier vocalists....and a great friend as well.
Jeff Brown - Lead Vocals and Bass Guitar. Jeff has been
a musician since he was 8 years old. His roots lie mostly
in Country music, but has an interest in classic rock
as well. He has played rhythm and lead guitar in other
bands, as well as drumming! But on the bass guitar,
he has found his true calling. With no formal training
or lessons, Jeff has taken his place with Tailor Made,
and has established himself as one of Central New York’s
BEST bass players! With over 9 years in the group, Jeff
is back and better than ever! Fans and band members
alike are glad he is back as Tink’s ”Right
Hand Guy On The Left”! Jeff has a great sense
of humor and is proud to be the band’s biggest
REDNECK!
Harold Swartwood (“JR”) - Drums. Harold
is a recent addition to the group. Only 22 years old
but already a talented performer, JR has been playing
the drums since he was very small! He has performed
with groups such as “Stolen Pony” and others,
and has a varied musical background! That combined with
a shot of youthful enthusiasm helps to drive the bands
energy level sky high!
Rik Smith - Vocals & Guitar, Guitar Synthesizer.
Rik started playing guitar at age 14. Ironically, at
age 15, his first rock cover band “Exit”,
which included vocalist Al Pankhurst, placed first in
a local competition. After 25 years of playing with
various country and rock bands, Rik has found a comfortable
home with “Tailor Made.” His influences
include Randy Rhoades, Joe Satriani and Gary Seals.
Rik lives in central New York with his beautiful wife
Renee.
For the last ten years Tailor Made has been represented
by Comstock Records from Phoenix Arizona and have had
some major airplay overseas as well as some of the southern
states. Tailor Made also has two CD’s out with
all original material. For more info, visit www.tailormade.fanspace.com

EDISON -
interviewed by M. Scriminger
& composed by K.D. Scrimigner--
Dec Edition - Volume 2 - Issue 6
When
we tell a story about a band we hear about all of the
glory and fame that one would surely expect. The nation
wide tours, the adoring and over exaggerated fans. We
even occasionally hear of musicians’ good deeds,
as they help national and international charities with
their benefit concerts. But this won’t be that
kind of story.
Two years ago Edison, the four piece band, joined on
with the Armed Forces Entertainment (AFE) on an, “Echo
all Over the World,” tour. Bringing remembrances
of home to American soldiers stationed in Africa, Kuwait,
Afghanistan and elsewhere in the Middle East.
Soon enough, Edison packed some untypical travel gear,
Black Flak jackets and helmets, and boarded a commercial
flight under the protective wings of the AFE and Captain
Jessie Davidson (USAF), for four weeks. The flight would
take them to the United Arab Emirates, and from that
point almost nothing was familiar to them. The Blackhawk
Helicopters and Cavernous C-130’s replaced civilian
planes on foreign soil as EDISON entered, “a real
and terrifying war zone.”
“When we got into Afghanistan and Iraq, we did
some combat landings and land convoys, in both of these
countries, it was pretty frightening.” Ethan said
in a live interview. Some bases had 20,000 troops and
others only about 300. “So some nights you played
for thousands of troops and other nights only a hundred
or so. But the troops were always very appreciative.”
During their tour, Edison lived with the troops on their
bases and in their camps, as well as spending time with
them after the shows too.
Ethan Issac, band leader and lead singer, said they
once did a really unique show, “It was a really
unique show not only for us but everyone that attended.
The Afghan National Army and the Americans, it was the
first Rock Show the Afghan National Army had ever seen,
it was really an amazing situation, for the first time
you saw this foreign military troop and the Americans
really unite in a very different way...not in a militant
way...it was eerie and exciting at the same time.”
Edison is very humbled by their life-changing experience
overseas, “This isn’t really about what
we are doing, the purpose of the tour is to boost the
morale of the troops.” Ethan stated. “It’s
not about the war, and it shouldn’t be made to
be a political thing, you should just support the troops.”
Edison who has only two original members; Ethan Issac,
whose musical roots are said to reach back to his roots
in Madison, Wisconsin and drummer and Berkley School
of Music Graduate Todd Budich. Now within the last 6
months the band has changed members and two local Potsdam
boys, Joel and Devon Kelly, joined them in Germany to
finish what had already been started. Now, Edison could
continue serving the troops, some Real American Rock
n’ Roll. Joel and Devon were former members of
Hightower, and had already toured some in Europe when
they met up with Ethan and Todd.
After their tour overseas Edison was asked by the Navy
to play a single show for all the service members that
were stationed in Cuba. “This should be an interesting
adventure for the band,” Ethan wrote in a log.
Edison’s adventure began in the LGA airport in
Queens, on Oct. 31st 2007. Most of their equipment was
being provided for them in Cuba, so they only needed
to bring a couple of guitars and their merchandise.
However while checking in the luggage they were told
the guitars cases were over weight and there would be
extra freight charges. “Halloween was here and
the airport was filled costumes and we were negotiating
with a witch.” Ethan wrote. However once Delta
realized what Edison was doing clearance was granted,
without extra expenses.
Edison was scheduled to fly out from Florida on Nov
1, and would be sharing the stage with Ted Nugent in
Cuba. But because of Tropical Hurricane Noel, they were
delayed and had to fly around the storm. Ted Nugent’s
show had been cancelled and Edison landed on the leeward
side of the island and the only way to the other side
was by boat. Earlier, Ted Nugent had been transported
across but, it was determined unsafe for any more transports.
The sea was so tossed up by the storm Edison was unable
to move to the other side of the island, and was forced
to stay in a refugee camp for the night. “This
was a room lined with bunk beds and some filled with
Haitians and Cubans who had been discovered by the Navy
on the sea on small boats.” Ethan wrote in his
notes. The next day, Edison traveled to the other side
of the island. They had some down time and were given
different tours of Guantanamo Bay Prison, and the northeast
gate that leads to the communist part of Cuba.
The night before they played in Cuba, Edison had dinner
with the Commander, his wife and 40 guests. “It
was like being in a small version of the white house.”
Ethan wrote. “This is where Jack Nicholson filmed
a few good men.” And as they sat down to eat the
commander got up to make a heart felt speech on how
much he appreciated Edison for being their for the event
and he showed much admiration and thanks for all the
touring Edison had done for the troops.
After their show they went to different places on base.
“The base was much more civilized compared to
the Middle East. There are 10,000 people living on the
base and it is very similar to a small town. Starbucks,
McDonalds, Subway and other franchised restaurants have
found there way on to the base. It’s like a small
American town in Cuba. Guantanamo is a historical military
operation and is a once in a lifetime journey for an
American Rock band.” Ethan noted.
As for Edison’s music it constantly progresses
with the band and its members. Their experiences have
helped them come up with new songs that are message
driven. They are anticipating the release of a new studio
record due out in the beginning of 2008. And they just
finished filming their video “Ocean Waves,”
in Orlando, Florida.
So what’s next for Edison, they still plan to
do more touring over seas but, they are working on doing
some state side touring after the New Years, anticipating
some southern and northeastern touring .
When we caught up with them they where heading home
for some home holiday down time. Through out all of
their touring, Edison has had a videographer with them;
they have been filming for over three years and are
in the beginning stages of putting together, ‘An
incredible documentary.’ A story about, ‘The
trials and tribulations of an American Rock Band Touring
the World!’ Edison gets a lot of pleasure from
their audiences’ reaction, and being able to bring
them a piece of home. “It’s all about playing
and having fun with the troops, doing the best job you
can, to make a difference.” said Ethan.
Next chance you get, check out one of their shows and
let them know you appreciate their efforts to keep up
the moral of our fighting soldiers. You can visit Edison

QUEEN QUGUST -
R.S.---
Nov Edition - Volume 2 - Issue 5
This
four piece band from Depauville, New York, came together
to create a very unique and distinct sound. They have
built themselves a large following with their Original/Progressive
Music, playing venues in Utica, Watertown, Rochester,
and Clinton, to name but a few. They are, “Striving
to break the cycle of monotony and bestow technical
and meaningful music upon the populous.” And that
is just what they have done. All these young men were
influenced differently and yet have come together blending
creatively the sound known, in this area, only to them.
On what can only be some of the finest, cleanest playing
by a guitar player in a long time, Norm Shampine; whose
influences include; King Crimson, Dream Theatre, Brand
X, Korn and Jimmy Hendrix. And with fingers that exotically
tantalize the keys of the keyboard and a voice that
carries the music exceptionally well is Gino Cappuccetti,
whose influences include; Genesis, Rush, Pink Floyd,
King Crimson, Sega and Styx. With exceptional talent,
Justin Reynolds, on bass, he fully complements not only
Shampine but the entire band! His influences include;
Metallica, Pink Floyd, Korn, Mastodon, Cradle Of Filth,
and Pantera. And finally, the newest member to Queen
August, but not without mention, for no band is complete
without the workings of a professional sounding percussionist,
John Ademiac. “You see, in a band like Queen August,
we rely on musicianship , craft and heart above all
else.” - QA.
Though they have considered adding other members, they
have decided not to at this time. Perfection can’t
be made any more perfect! Though they look forward to
playing with other bands at some of their venues.
Now, Queen August has been deciding whether they will
continue the style they first presented in ‘7th
and 9th’(you can hear it On-line), with their
Group Written pieces that have tight structures, figuring
Gino’s created enough epics. They seem ready for
the short song pieces full of melodic leads and bright
chords. But you’ll have to decide that for yourself.
You can review their music and give them their well
deserved attention and approval. Check out their music
and you’ll agree they are a band you’ll
want to see!
Recent Update from Queen August: “We don’t
have anything booked but we’re planning on re-debuting
with our new lineup and a few special surprises around
late January. And we want everyone to know.... Music
is our love, our passion.... Our craft.” --- “Would
you walk where they do not travel?”

The CHERUBS -
Feature Band---
Oct Edition - Volume 2 - Issue 4
--Kyle
Watts
Music from outer space is probably
the only way to describe this band who has recently
taken over the upstate New York music scene. Full of
mystery and groove The Cherubs have settled their place
among the great bands in this area. There aren’t
many bands like The Cherubs, wait, let me rephrase that,
there are no bands like The Cherubs. Once you listen
to some of their music you will know why. Besides from
being impressed to the extreme you will experience melody
and rhythm that may be a new discovery to your ears.
I recently was able to interview The Cherubs and was
able to get their inside look on this unique sound that
everyone seems to be talking about. The Cherubs include
members: Yabu, Wuddlelovebaby, Moony, and The Manjis.
The names are not just the only things that are unique
about this band. When I asked The Cherubs just who exactly
I would find in the audience at their shows, the response
was, “People that are 10,000 years ahead of their
time.” This may be true, it is possible to find
many fans of The Cherubs with such an original sound.
When I asked the band what exactly their future plans
were they simply stated, “To make the people dance.”
The Cherubs plan to tour for a while and make their
way over towards the west coast.
The Cherubs have recently put out a new album this year
entitled, “This Noise is So Space Man.”
When asked how they go about writing music the band
explained it is a collaborative effort. Everyone adds
their creative element to the music. The band made a
big point of explaining that their music is much more
than just the music. It is entertaining throughout.
The band stated, “We are a performance art collective
as much as we are a band, it’s about experience,
not the intention.” So if you are looking for
a great musical experience, check out a show near you.---

ALTER EGO-
Feature Band---
Sept Edition - Volume 2 - Issue 3
--Divided

There are many music scenes in the
north country such as the rock, blues, and metal scenes.
There is however a strong music scene that is often
overlooked, but very much a part of the entertainment
field in the area. This scene is the cover band scene.
This scene is by far the most common form of entertainment
in the area, but it is not commonly known as a music
“scene”. This “scene” is what
brings good live music to bars and clubs in the area
for our entertainment.
One of the common names in this “scene”
for our area is a band called Alter Ego. This is a good-time
rock band known for putting on an entertaining show
at many of the bars and clubs from Malone down to Alex
Bay. The lineup includes Dan Kelly fronting the group
on lead vocals, with Jason Fregoe on lead guitar, Jon
Dufore on bass, Dave Belile on drums, and Tom Beckstead
on the keyboard. Alter Ego formed in June of 06’,
and first graced the stage that October in Hannawa Falls.
Their set-list includes such artists
as The Tragically Hip, Queen, and Aerosmith. They have
been consistently booked since their creation playing
at least one show a week. Their repitoir is vast, and
they are open for booking at any bar, club, wedding,
or jamboree. They can be reached at their website, alteregotunes.com,
or on myspace at myspace.com/alteregotunes.
For booking call Dan at 389-5218.
These guys keep our “scene” alive and rock

With a sound from the 90’s thrash
metal days and influences ranging from Slayer to Bach
to Dizzy Gillespie; Vicious Intent is a new face with
a classic sound in the local metal scene. Vicious Intent
is an old school thrash metal / grind core style group
from all parts of the North Country. They are backed
up by a strong local metal scene, and play shows regularly
with the intent of shattering some eardrums. Their lineup
includes Campbell on guitar, Maynard on guitar, Greenleaf
on vocals, Buzz on bass, and O’Connell on drums.
Their classic sound is giving them a strong following
in the area, with only stronger support to come.
These guys are not shy about saying
that their style is not original. In fact, they pride
themselves upon bringing back the old sound that they
grew up on. Their style is derivative of Slayer, Exodus,
Pantera, and old Metallica. Their following consists
of the same type of people who grew up with the same
love of thrash as they did. “We watch our crowd
to see what they like,” quoted every member. “We
try to give them what they like without giving up who
we are.”
They, like many of the great local
groups, feed off the energy given to them by their fans
at live shows. They bring energy to every performance,
playing everyone as if it was their last. “I love
it when the crowd gets into the music and jumps around,
because then I don’t look stupid when I do it
on stage,” Commented Greenleaf. “It’s
a great feeling knowing that people love our stuff just
as much as we do.” ---

TYRADE -
Feature Band----June
Edition - Volume 1 - Issue 12
--Divided
45
The group “Tyrade” is a
three piece hard rock band made up of Ronn Simser on
bass and lead vocals, Rob Baker on drums, and Tic on
guitar and backing vocals. They tour with their soundman
Chris, who sits in on bass during part of their shows.
This Dekalb based hard rock band has been playing with
its current lineup for about two years now, and are
gaining steam.
They have gathered a respectable fan
base in Northern New York playing every week at various
venues around the area. Their music is strongly influenced
by groups such as Breaking Benjamin and Godsmack with
individual influences coming from Nirvana, Mudvayne,
Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Jimi Hendrix, and Dave Grohl.
Their music was initially mainstream, then later slid
to a more metal sound, and has since shifted slightly
back, but continues to give a driving, heavy pulse of
rock energy. Their music is a group effort with the
music being written by all the members in group sessions.
Ronn takes over with the lyrics making each song bleed
a little with emotion.
Tyrade plans to move downstate eventually
to try to build upon their fan base and eventually gain
the highly coveted record deal. They currently are playing
shows in the area often joining with other bands of
similar genres. They have been pushing their original
music at every show and every given opportunity. Their
CD can be purchased from the band and some of their
music can even be found on www.youtube.com. They feed
off the energy of their crowds and put on a show at
every gig they play. They live for their music and fans,
and show it in every performance. They are thankful
for the continuing support and hope to garner new fans
on their way to the top.
