Holy Crap!!!! Have you heard Mythology....SCARY!!!! In an awesome way, First Track “An Infernal Grave” I started listening in the Dark...By the first chourus I had all the lights on in and Outside at my home..a full out assault of the senses!!!! Track number 2 “Serpent Slayer” starts out Sinister as ever This Northern New York Band can rip...or as they would put it R.I.P!!!! Get It Rest in Peace(I amuse myself)This four piece includes made up faces that would scare the Hell out of KISS!!Track Three “The Fallen have Risen” is a fast paced Rocker....throw on your Best Slipknot tee shirt or Blood Covered GWAR Tee (Adam’s Personal Fave) and do the toxic waltz to Mythology...They wrap up this set with “In Dismay” The whole unit working Hard on this thrasher! All in all Mythology will leave you breahtless...The Drummer is out of this world....Adam Diamond Loves this Band!!!!! ---

DIVIDED ROADS- Adam Diamond ---May Edition - Volume 2 - Issue 11

Adam Diamond in the House and this month’s Featured MySpace is for Divided Roads, They Rock You!!! First Track is well, “Divided Roads” and it has you instantly. The guitars catch you, lead vocalist Andy Deon sounds like a modern day Ronnie James Duo....That is never a bad thing!!! Up next is “Fading Away” a very sinister sounding. This four piece out of Potsdam, NY are tight sounding and I could see them as a serious opening act for any major label rock bands that come to the area. The third track “Alternate Ending” starts with some serious ax shredding by Mike Forget....

I keep heading back to the live thing and I would be up front head banging, letting my long hair (which almost touches the ground) whip as only I can...while I and Crystal Gale.....anyways....

Anyone moving on to track four “All We Deserve” starts out like journeys faithfully...Andy’s Voice on this tune is flawless...all together I say Divided Roads are winners and you should catch them live...that’s all for now...I’m off to the Ellen Show...no not the TV show...Ellen my cleaning lady has a dog show each week and I judge...How cool am I...Until next time the horns raised to Rock the Goblet of Demon Spawn!!!!!!!AD ---

MANHATTAN MANIAC - Adam Diamond ---April Edition - Volume 2 - Issue 10

This Month AD flips the script and we Hip Hop are way to Manhattan....Maniac that is. This 14 year old Microphone Phenom tells it like it is, “Makin money” flows with the ease of a Vetern Lyric master like KRS-one or Rakim..or even the New School of Hip Hoppers like Nas, Jay-Z and Lil Wayne.Track two “Legend Has It” lets you know what will Happen to you if you ever Cross the Manhattan Maniac who’s real name is Gage Langstaff, son of DJ Jason Langstaff, the Later even helping his son to produce the project...one listen and your hooked on the Mahattan Maniac...The Best young hip hopper since LL Cool J. He raps it up with, “Justice League” after I heard this song I thought I was Aquaman and actually saved a frog from a snapper turtle...crime dose not pay my little turtle friend...The Mahattan Maniac is the real deal!!!! THREATEND - Adam Diamond ---Mar Edition - Volume 2 - Issue 9

Hey all Adam Diamond here and this month it’s Threatend they hail from Tupper Lake, Saranac Lake and Rousse Point...they are Heavy....very Heavy....the 1st track “shut the door” recalls Testament or even Nuclear Assult...clearly they would fit nicely on Headbangers Ball...up next...“Lunatic” with the wind and rain intro I had to check and make sure I shut my door...These cats can play....straight out...Very sinister sounding on “Lunatic”..I dig it!!!! Next “Eve” recalls Meatllica during the Black album phase or even “and Justice for all” which isn’t bad...Matt’s Vocals almost sound like Layne Staley”RIP” former singer of Alice in Chains I really dig this Band...LIVE they must kick A**..up next “Unhinged” great bass line Drummer, Moving as well as it swells into a monster Jam!!!! Threatend is a band to be reckond with....Adam Diamond is a fan..until next month raise your horns to rock!!!!!! ---

TRISKELION - Adam Diamond ---Feb Edition - Volume 2 - Issue 8

This month I am sure to heat you up with Triskelion...they are like a Peanut Butter Cup...two great former taste coming together...hey Dude you got your choclate in my peanut Butter...as two former area standout groups...Cain and Full Effect have joined forces...first track “Wake Up” is plucked right from the 80’s metal scene...which to tell you the truth I wish was still here!!!! Fate brought them togeather in 2006 at a “jam night” we use to have those at my Grandma’s, her strawberry is my favorite.....oh wrong Jam!!! Tim Logan shreds the guitar...the second tune “Blockhead”....rips the peanuts tune with charlie brown drops how cool is that!!!! The solo sounds like Yngwie Malmsteen and that my friends is OUTSTANDING!!!! They are the only two tracks available and Triskelion leave me wanting more!!!! the four piece outfit with Big Larry Holly, Logan, Randy Vanbrocklin and newcomer Travis Averill are a force to be wreckend with catch them if you can...YOU won’t be disappointed!!!! till next month Keep the horns raised to rock...The Goblett full...and the Head thrashing!!!Peace out AD!!!! --

Happy New Year all...Adam Diamond in the Hizouse..Canton, Potsdam’s Sundog the first review of “08...Its Going to be a great year...This is a Unique sounding group “Que Sera” leads things off with a bang...”Stripper” a cool song with the Lyrics “I don’t want no stripper with small underware”....Classic!!!! And up Next “Underdog” wouldn’t sound out of place on most College stations!!!! Then we end it with “feel me too” the boys slow it down on this track...Overall a winner..Sundog are no underdogs!!!! Brushton, NY’s Alien Anarchists - man they load the double barrels and come out firing on “little red riding hood” I like the howl in the beginning and by the way LRRH is my second favorite fairy tale ever behind, “there once was a man from Nantucket whose...” well you know the rest!!!! up next is “East” which the boys from AA couldn’t possibly have known is my favorite direction!!!!! It has the feeling of Early “Tea Party” work. Next an ode to my favorite MONSTER TRUCK “Grave Digger” the tune is actually a Dave Matthews Cover...they round it out with “Sadistic” witch BTW is the catchiest tune!!!!! check them out!!!!! Hello Control - Adam Diamond ---Oct Edition - Volume 2 - Issue 4

Hey Folks your boy-toy adam diamond here for those of you reading this colum for the first time---SHAME ON YOU!!!! I am Adam Diamond named after King Diamond and VJ Adam Curry...well anywho Plattsburg NY’s Hello Control is Power Punk Pop at its best....Forever is the lead track on there myspace site and i instantly think of bands such as the “get up kids “or the starting line catchy at first listen...up next is “i’ll find you” like the stalker in your life they will find you...again Hello Control would fit nicely in between Fall out boy and blink 182..This 5 peice works nicely togeather...”let me go” is next and is the winner of the bunch, it should be a staple at local radio stations...request this with Java Joel...he needs to hear this...they round it out with “start over” excellent tune as well..Taking back Sunday would be proud...catch thease cats...again the name is Hello Control don’t forget it!!!! until next month rock on and don’t eat the brown acid!!!!!

Queen August - Adam Diamond ---Sept Edition - Volume 2 - Issue 3

HEY IT’S Adam Diamond this months’ myspace review is for Queen August and i feel as though i have traveled back in time, when singles meant nothing and the music really stood for something...Queen August can bring it! all four members have many influences, but YES and King Crimson seem to stick out. There is a very Proggressive Rock feel to the first cut, “defeying the storm” the band is firing on all cylinders a very exotic sound..haven’t heard many, this day in age, that can compare to this band....Love the keyboards in the opening of the second song “Beast upon a hill.” Man for a second before they break in, i felt as though i was heading into church (i even blessed myself) Love the Lyrics some were sung and some spoken...i kept thinking King Crimson...very cryptic...i would love to catch them live to get the whole feel of them playing these tunes...the Piano opening of the third cut “would you walk” very catchy and the chimes are as if i have eaten some magical potion and traveled down a dimly lit hole with Monster size ear phones and a Musical Buzz (yes that is it a musical buzz). The Final cut “7th and 9th” round out a nice 4 song set that any Proggressive Rock fan would love..These cats can play..Queen August...your newest fan is Adam Diamond---

Lucid - Adam Diamond ----Aug Edition - Volume 2 - Issue 2

Adam Diamond Loves Lucid!!
Tell ya what Lucid is, they are like the weather...hot hot hot!!!! you can’t help but to think of Phish...moe or any or the Jam bands....love the guitar that Kevin Sabourin rips, Bluesy yet pat metheny comes to mind....Styles of the smooth get ya Jammin and breaks down to an almost Reggae sound i am diggin it....i haven’t felt this good drug free mind you since the first time i saw Dr Suess the Lorax...shuffling off with the Barbaloot suits....valium improv is next starts Jazzy like i was in a smokey club checking out joshua redman....these cats can flatt out play.....Backwoods is the next cut very blusey...reminds me of Widespread Panic this is a great song....these guys would be great at a festival...outdoors man...i am going to jump in the St.Lawrence River the music is taking over my body....you out to check these guys out for sure..they hale from Plattsburg NY and not to be missed. Jacked - Adam Diamond ----July Edition - Volume 2 - Issue 1

Hey its Adam diamond welcome to MY SPACE Music Review for July---This month the band Jacked they hale from Northern New York and the first thing that stood out to me was the Lead Guitar work...some serious axe shredding...”come with me” great tune i could hear it easily on Rock Radio mixed in with the likes of the Goo Goo Dolls or the Tragically Hip. “Never “ is another radio friendly tune...i can not wait until the full length is released. “Could i be the one” rounds out the triple play and you should do yourself a favor Catch these cats live they will leave you wanting more as they have with me...can not wait for the disc. Wasted Sensation - Adam Diamond ----June Edition - Volume 1 - Issue 12

Hey it’s Adam Diamond and check out MySpace reviews with me...

We start with the Twisted Sound of Wasted Sensation, this 3 peice Nuclar Assault of the senses hail from upstate NY and have a growing fan base...”The Viking Daspora” brings back memories of King Diamond (no relation)...the circus music in the background sets a creepy backdrop to this tune....”Let the blood flow” kicks it up a notch and the standout track I believe is “die with me” Marylian Manson sounding if manson was wasted and being chased by Bulls!!!!! Wasted Sensation have all their chips in and don’t Bet against them or you just might sell your soul to the devil!!!!!!!
