Double Barrel Blues Band

This 4 piece Blues Rocking band is based out of Syracuse N.Y and have been going strong fro 9 years playing countless regional shows as well as some short touring..Their live shows clearly define them with intense electric guitar work and ability to connect with their audience in a way that extends beyond their performance!

The Band consists of long time veteran of the Syracuse Blues Music Scene Mark Cloutier on the Stratocaster guitar and vocals .. John Hart sings and plays guitar sharing and leading the front while adding some great slide guitar work.. Garnet Grimm Sr. plays the skins and also has a hand in much of the booking of The Band ...His son Garnet Grimm JR. currently tours with Savoy Brown.. Long time Bassman Bill Satterly holds it down nicely on the 4 string with a solid bass sound reminiscent of the old style traditional blues bass players...

The DBBB were nominated for a 2010 Sammy Award for their release, "Night Train Home" And 2014 Sammy for "Can You Feel It".. They have won 2010, 2011 ,and 2012 U.S.I.A.- Upper State Independent Awards in Best Blues Category as well..

Mark Cloutier was a featured story during the 2012 NYS Blues Fest and on the Cover of the Syracuse New Times as part of highlighting the great regional blues talent. He has also released many solo Guitar Albums highlighting his skills as a lead guitarist and songwriter..

John Hart's cool song writing and unique singing helps make this band unique. He seems to have lived every note as he sings and plays guitar while helping bring a rock n roll influence that adds on to an already cool blues rock vibe! .John also played in a handful of rock n roll bands in Europe during his military assignment
