The leaves are falling and the temperatures have dropped, but The Adirondack Artists Guild will heat up Friday night with Lakes & Streams. The new exhibit for October features all new oil paintings of Artists Guild member Nancy Brossard and opens Friday Oct 2, from 5 - 7 pm.

Nancy's unique style, expressive brushstrokes, and bold colors, make her paintings instantly identifiable. No one paints like Nancy! Her energetic brushwork caressingly shapes the contours of the rocks and water and landscapes that she loves to paint, most of them in the Tri-Lakes area. She often paints the views from the railroad tracks in Lake Clear, walking there from her home. Brossard said, -Climbing Mt. Baker with my easel was something I hadn't done in many years. Some paintings are a learning experience every step of the way, and push me to keep going in new directions.- All of Nancy's paintings are done 'en plein air', that is, outdoors, on location.

The Adirondack Artists Guild Gallery is proud to feature this exciting exhibit of new paintings by Nancy Brossard. Join us Friday, Oct 2, from 5 - 7 pm as we celebrate the Adirondacks in paint.
