The Potsdam NY Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the 6th Annual Merry Tubachristmas concert on Saturday December 12.

The concert begins at 4 pm at the Potsdam United Methodist Church, 26 Main Street.

"There is no cost to come and listen and join in the sing alongs," stated Potsdam Chamber Ex. Director Marylee Ballou, " though we do put out a donation Tuba to collect for the Potsdam Neighborhood Center."

Any tuba or euphonium player wishing to participate can come to rehearsal at the church that afternoon from 1-3 pm. Cost is $10 and each player receives a commemorative button. Registration begins at 12:30 pm. Players are encouraged to dress "festive" and to "dress up" their horns for the concert. "There have been some very creative horns in the past," Ms Ballou mentioned. The group will be conducted again this year by Kyle Tupper.

Merry Tubachristmas is celebrating its 42nd Anniversary. Created by Harvey Phillips, Merry Tubachristmas 2015 concerts will be presented in over 280 cities throughout the United States and several in foreign countries.
