Adirondack Carousel

6 th Annual North Country Musicians Unite for local food pantries benefit concert.

Our annual concert will be on Saturday, February 20th, once again at the Adirondack Carousel. This is an all-day free concert, with more than a dozen local and regional acts, covering many types of music. Admission is free, but we ask that you donate food and /or money to the local food pantries. The Saranac Lake and Vermontville/ Bloomingdale Pantries will be represented. This time of year is particularly hard on the resources of the local food pantries. Cash goes much further than food, as it can by much more, due to bulk purchases and matching grants. Hot dogs, hamburgers, and baked goods will be for sale, with all proceeds going directly to musicians. Gift certificates and door prizes from local merchants will be raffled off. And a signed guitar will be auctioned. The carousel will run in between sets. Everyone plays for free and donates their time. This is an approximate time schedule of performances. Please check out our facebood page for revisions. We are thankful to the local businesses that have supported this endeavor over the years. Many downtown Saranac Lake merchants contribute seed money and door prizes. We'll run a complete list after the show, but thanks up from to Upstate Auto, Wendy's Book Store, Sturdy's Supply, Taylor Rental, Ampersound, Blue Moon Café, Eat& Greet, Rail Explorers USA, Adirondack Scenic Railroad, Casier's Furniture, Moose Maple Books and More, Two Horse Trading, EcoLiving, Twin Crystal Rock Shop, Adirondack Daily Enterprise, and most of all to Post Office Pharmacy for their very helpful contribution.
