Kelsea Ballerini

It's always great to see celebrities give back as their star power rises and their names bring a little more clout. So I was happy to hear that country newcomer Kelsea Ballerini, who really rocketed into the spotlight last year, has been a longtime supporter of Musicians on Call. If you aren't familiar with Musicians On Call (MOC), they are a Nonprofit that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities, to bring the healing power of music to patients. Last month Kelsea teamed up with (MOC) and performed at the Phoenix Children's Hospital for patients, families and care givers. She sang her hit songs "Dibs", "Love Me Like You Mean It" along with here latest "Peter Pan" to the delight of the many in attendance. She also too time to talk and visit with many of the children and their families. It's refreshing to see a young artist giving her time and talents to help lift the spirits of those who can use it the most. We need more artists like Kelsea to freely give of themselves like this. If you would like to learn more about Musicians on Call visit

So Kenny Rogers will say a final goodbye to his annual Christmas & Hits Tour in 2016. This as the country legend has announced that this will be his last seasonal tour. The news of course follows Rogers' previous announcement of his farewell tour, the Gambler's Last Deal, which will run into 2017. "Christmas has always been a special time of year to me," Rogers explains in a press release. "The feeling I get performing on the Christmas tour is one of the things I'll really miss about not being on the road. We will be sure to take extra time to Cherish some moments on this last go around, and I hope as many people as possible will be able to join us in creating a new set of holiday memories." For this 35th Edition, the 2016 Christmas & Hits Tour, Rogers will visit 16 cities including the Turning Stone casino on December 20th, where he will perform holiday favorites, selections from his 2015 Christmas album Once Again It's Christmas and his well-known hits.
