So as much as we don't want to admit it, Christmas really isn't that far away. Yes, yes I know we still have to get through Halloween and hand out the candy to the kids and then gather and enjoy turkey on Thanksgiving. But soon enough that joyous season will be upon us and some country stars are releasing Christmas albums to help get us in the spirit! Three new Christmas albums will hit the shelves throughout this month. Kacey Musgraves gives us A Very Kacey Christmas with some fun collaborations including Willie Nelson. The CD will be available October 28 while the vinyl edition will be out November 18. Chris Young is excited to share his first ever Christmas album It Must Be Christmas which will be available October 14th. Chris will be joined by Alan Jackson as they team up for "There's A New Kid In Town". The group Exile is set to release their first ever Christmas album on October 21 Wrapped Up In Your Arms For Christmas. Brett Eldredge will share Glow with us as well. Meghan Trainor will duet with Brett on the album, so be on the lookout for these albums and pick up a copy for your Christmas collection or someone on your list who may appreciate one of these new albums.

Country music has heard much from LeAnn Rimes in recent years as she's focused on TV and her family life. Well she's about to jump back into the fray with a new album Remnants which is due out October 28. Rimes who's currently touring in Europe is very nervous about this upcoming release. Mainly because she says this album gave her a sense of healing. "I'm not attacking's from a settled point of view. And yes, it is vulnerable. I'm scared to death." I've long been of fan of her music since first hearing her belt out "Blue" so I'm excited to hear some new music from her soon. Rimes will also be kicking off her Today is Christmas 2016 tour December 1st in Norfolk, NE. She'll spend December taking her Christmas tour around the Midwest with stops in Nebraska, Illinois, Minnesota, Indiana, South Dakota, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah and Colorado. Looks like she's jumping back in head first, and I'm sure she won't disappoint.

Husband & wife TIM MCGRAW and Faith Hill like to do as much together as they can and getting stars on the Music City Walk of Fame is no different. Congrats to the country power couple as they are both getting their own stars during a spcial ceremony early this month in Nashville. Their plaques will be the 73rd and 74th added to Walk of Fame Park right across from the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in downtown Nashville.

Besides the Christmas releases there is other music coming out during the month;

Oct 7 – Tucker Beathard Fight Like Hell EP including his debut hit single "Rock On" also Loretta Lynn White Christmas Blue, Oct 14 Chris Young It Must Be Christmas also Blackberry Smoke Like An Arrow, October 21 Ronnie Dunn Tattooed Heart, Exile Wrapped Up In Your Arms For Christmas & Oct 28 Kenny Chesney Cosmic Hallelujah and Kacey Musgraves A Very Kacey Christmas

Just a little heads up for Miranda Lambert fans, her new album The Weight of These Wings will be available next month on November 18.
